AOJ X ALBINO AND PRETO FOR “PINKTOBER”
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Otherwise known as “Pinktober,” it is an annual international health campaign every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds to research its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure. In the US, approximately 1 in 9 women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. With those statistics, as individuals we will unfortunately know someone close to us (or multiple people) during our lifetime that will fall victim to breast cancer. And as we’ve seen the jiu-jitsu community come together to share awareness on important topics, this is no different.
So in support of Pinktober, A&P will be dropping Batch 17, a project dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds from their general sale will be donated to The Keep A Breast Foundation. The Kimono will be available for purchase tomorrow 10/28 at 11am PST at albinoandpreto.com.
